Unveiling Our Thoughtful Material Selection

At InfinityBelleame, the story of our products begins with a mindful approach to materials. We believe that every choice we make can contribute to a more sustainable and ethical future.
Sourced from Indian Small Businesses: Our commitment to community is woven into the very fabric of our brand. We take pride in sourcing all our materials, including fabrics and packaging, from the local Indian small business community. This not only supports local artisans but also strengthens the bonds within our community.
Sustainability in Every Stitch: Our dedication to sustainability guides us every step of the way. None of our fabric goes to waste. Our meticulous practices ensure that every piece of fabric finds its purpose, reducing waste and conserving resources.
Ethical Crafting: Every product we create carries the mark of ethical craftsmanship. From the hands that weave the fabric to the careful hands that package your purchase, every person involved in the process is treated with respect and fairness.
Shaping a Greener Tomorrow: Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us – it's a commitment. We're continually exploring and implementing more eco-friendly options for packaging, striving to offer you choices that align with our values.
With each material we select, we honor the Earth and the communities that contribute to our journey. Join us in embracing a more mindful way of consuming, where quality, community, and sustainability intersect beautifully.

SATIN & SILK

Satin is the OG of InfinityBelleame™ Scrunchie. All of our first styles were created in satin as it is one of our favourite fabrics to sew not to mention how good it feels. Satin refers to the weave, not the textile and is most often characterized as having a soft, shiny finish that is perfect for keeping your hair strong, healthy and split end free!

VELVET

Velvet is one of our favourite fabrics simply for the softness, rich colours and textures it comes in. We have 3 different types of velvet we work with! Ribbed velvet (the Chels, Ribbin, Daisy, Morgane) Soft Velvet (the Mai, Jade, Penelope & more) and Stretch Velvet (the Angelique, Cindy, Margo & More). Velvet is woven on a special loom that weaves two thicknesses of the material at the same time. The two pieces are then cut apart to create the pile effect, and the two lengths of fabric are wound on separate take-up rolls. This complicated process meant that velvet was expensive to make before industrial power looms became available, and well-made velvet remains a fairly costly fabric. Keep in mind due to its ribbed surface, our Ribbed Velvet XXL Scrunchies are much heavier than our other materials.

QUICK-DRY

Most quick-dry fabrics are made from nylon, polyester, or merino wool. These fabrics tend to wick moisture away and dry faster than your standard fabric. Quick-dry fabrics are perfect for swimming, beaching, yoga, the gym and outdoor activities!

COTTON

Cotton is the most popular fabric around the world. It is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the mallow family Malvaceae. The fiber is most often spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile. The use of cotton for fabric is known to date to prehistoric times; fragments of cotton fabric dated to the fifth millennium BC have been found in the Indus Valley Civilization, as well as fabric remnants dated back to 6000 BC in Peru.

Sheer Organza

Sheer organza is shiny, gorgeous, lightweight, very soft! Slight shimmer/shine & soft to touch fabric. This fabric is a beautiful thin breathable fabric that gives us cloud vibes! Try our newest zodiac collection that is all made in our organza!

ACETATE

Acetate plastic is an allergy-free plastic made from plants. It was discovered due to the increasing demands for other types of plastics in the 1940s. It is known to be strong, lightweight, and flexible which makes it the preferred material for plastic-based products such as hair clips. Natural cotton and wood fibers acquired from different types of plants are the primary raw materials used to make Acetate plastics. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, acetate plastics are environment-friendly since they are made out of natural renewable materials that decompose over time.
